This is an excellent opportunity if you are looking to move out of research into a UK wide sales role. The company is interested in meeting candidates with a PhD or a similar level of research in immunology/haematology, cell processing or therapeutic apheresis (blood separation). This role will involve selling a range of clinical products such as cell separation equipment, consumables and services, freezing bags for cryopreservation and products related to therapeutic apheresis to clinical markets. You will cover the whole of the UK and Ireland but will need to be based in London or the South excluding South West. You will be responsible for maintaining current business, whilst finding opportunities to develop and grow the business in the area. You will also be involved in marketing and technical training of customers.
The ideal candidate will have research experience in the fields mentioned above, be confident and target orientated. Good communication and organisational skills are essential to this role. You will be able to work both independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of the clinical industry would be desirable but not essential. Sales experience is a benefit but the company is happy to take on a technically qualified trainee.
